Research Laboratory of Atmospheric Air Pollution – LBZP
Scope of work:
- testing for gasses and particles concentrations in air breathed by animals and carers
- testing for gaseous and particulate pollutants concentrations and emissions in ventilated air
- determination of spread of gaseous and particulate pollutants plumes
- assessment of performance, efficiency and effectiveness of ventilation
- determination of gasses release rate from surfaces into rooms
- assessment of gasses concentrations released by piles of manure, liquid manure tanks and fertilized fields
- determination of air purification level after implementation of emission reduction techniques, i.e. feed additives, slurry additives, air filters- microclimate assessment hence livestock welfare
