A course on "Conducting assessments of the technical and safety reservoirs” will be held at the headquarters of the Institute of Technology and Life Sciences. The training is organized by the Department of Hydraulic Engineering and Land Reclamation.
Course will take place as commissioned by the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, in Long-Term Program "Standardization and monitoring of environmental projects, agricultural technology and infrastructure solutions for safety and sustainable development of agriculture and rural areas" in Action 1.1. entitled: "Monitoring of the technical safety of basic water management facilities and essential waterways for water management for the needs of agriculture."
Participation in the training is free, but the Institute does not cover the costs of accommodation and travel.
COURSE TOPICS
- Purpose of training and legal considerations technical inspections and safety of the reservoir.
- General information about the reservoirs.
- Technical characteristics and description of the reservoir.
- Processes occurring in the reservoirs, changing their condition and safety.
Periodic inspections: annual and every five years. - Measurements and observations.
- Assessment of technical condition and safety of reservoirs.
- Conclusions and recommendations.
