About the Institute
The legal basis for the action of the Institute of Technology and Life Sciences, hereinafter referred to as the "Institute", are:
- The Act of 30 April 2010 on research institutes (Dz. U. Nr 96, poz. 618).
- The Act of 30 April 2010 on Principles of Financing Science (Dz. U. Nr 96, poz. 615)
- The statute of the Institute of Technology and Life Sciences of the day of 28th of December 2010
The Institute shall have legal entity and was entered in the National Court Register - District Court in Warsaw, XIV Economic Department of the National Court Register number - 0000346302. The headquarters of the Institute are located in Falenty, Raszyn Commune, Pruszkow County, Masovian Voivodship.
The Institute is allowed to conduct business activity in agreement with the act of 2 nd July 2005 on economic freedom (Dz.U. of 2007 r. no. 155, poz. 1095 with later changes) and within the scope mentioned in the statute.
The Institute is entitled to grant PhD and habilitation degrees in agricultural sciences in the disciplines: agronomy, agricultural engineering and environmental management according to the act of 14 th March 2003 on degrees and titles in science and on degrees and titles in arts (Dz. U. of 2003, no. 65, poz. 595 with later changes).
The Institute is supervised by the Minister of Agriculture.
